House move packing for a 1930s semi in Newbury

A full packing job for a house move is one of those tasks that looks straightforward until you're knee-deep in it. This 1930s semi in Newbury had plenty of character, but that also meant plenty of nooks, crannies, and oddly-shaped rooms to work around. The owner wanted everything packed carefully and methodically, with nothing left to chance. We worked through the property room by room, wrapping and boxing everything from fragile glassware to books and soft furnishings. With a house this age, you learn quickly to be thoughtful about what goes where. Heavier items needed proper support, and we made sure everything was labelled clearly so unpacking at the other end would be straightforward. The key was staying organised and making sure nothing got damaged or lost in the process. By the end of it, the whole house was packed and ready to move. Come move day everything was packed and ready to go for the move team to effectively and efficiently load the property into the Lorrie's.
